General

  • Use Power Over Ethernet to supply power to the board
  • Use grounding to remove any interference and get a proper ground
  • Labeled test pin locations
  • Advantage notice of the need of additional components during the tests, like 100k resistors and such
  • Optic loop back, allows the received signal to be transmitted usefull for outlining purposes (get visual feedback and such)
  • Keep in mind batteries could be used as well, so on to low voltage/current switch off circuit instead of during weird resets and wrong oscillation
  • Standard wire scheme, so all connector cables could be used on all purposes, without the risk of frying a board
  • Some electronics might be worth to be put into a PIC or some other programmable unit, reducing the amount of SMD solder work.

All boards

  • No use of serial connectors but use RJ-45 connectors instead, make easy to make and more easy to connect disconnect

Twister2

  • Implement a replaceable fuse to ensure a short wire will not burn the whole board.

TxBoard

  • Variable resistors on measure points

RxBoard

  • RRSI led should output voltages suitable to use for the led.
